The Plan

T minus 18 days. Canada is right around the corner. Can I get a woot woot?
So after some soul searching with regards to my last post, I went and did the obvious. Yep, hired BSC as my swimming guru. This may be one of my best investments yet. I didn't have to think very hard about who could back up what they preach! And yes, lovin it so far.
I am not expecting any miracles in Canda but I am for Arizona. I am counting on it.
I am wanting BIG things to happen. I have a bet with a certain someone, who should I beat his best time, will come out of retirement and race again. That means I want to take an hour off my best time. What?
But Penticton is next up, it is going to be an adventure. Again, no sherpa going but am going with gal pal Suzy who is going to rock her 2nd IM! She has been at it for one year. Details coming. Again, off to bed. Where does the time go?

  1. And the beauty of swimming well in an Ironman is that if you're fit enough, it won't take anything out of you so you bike/run faster. :) Keep up the great work!!

  4. Canada is a FAST swim!!! I was 7 mins faster last year in CA than I was this year in CDA :-) And, I was in better shape this year….. You will love Michelle's swims, but they absolutely DO kick your ass.

  6. You done chose well with Mama Simmons and it looks like you've got the right mindset as far as expectations with the new plan. I arrive on Friday, trying something new and getting in a bit later this time around.
