St. George Day 2

This is St. George, Utah and it is really very pretty. It is raw, rugged and red! Everywhere you look there are these Red Mountains all around and in small, medium and large size. Today we drove over to the swim start at Sand Hollow Reservoir in Hurricane, Utah about 30 mins away. It is a dam filled lake surrounded by red mountains and then huge snow capped mountains above them. Again, very pretty scenery for a swim backdrop. Then we decided to drive the bike course to see just how brutal this was going to be.

We saw a lot of roads leading up, up. I have posted a few pics to show. This course is very hard and definitely not a PR course but finishing this race will be awesome! More to come
